Not all mealworms are made the same. Every Hatortempt worm is raised on wheat and vegetables, with no added proteins or microplastics.

They’re washed and dried twice to remove dirt, bacteria, and moisture, then hand-inspected so only plump, whole worms make it to your flock. With 5% more fiber and 8% more protein than other brands, our worms set a higher standard for healthy, happy chickens.

Our dried mealworms are a supplementary treat and should make up no more than 10% of their total daily diet.

An adult hen (around 5-7lbs) should have no more than 2 tablespoons per day. However, during molt or cold weather, you can go a bit higher (up to ~15% of diet) as they will need extra protein and energy.

Hatortempt's dried mealworms come in a resealable bag that should be stored in a cool dry place. Always reseal between uses.
